Tuesday Trivia!

Week three of Tuesday Trivia is here!! This week's prize is generously donated to us from Etsy seller LePinkChandelier. LePink's shop is full of a variety of awesome items including vintage, paper goods, repurposed goods, and these awesome hand painted flower pots. The winner of this week's Tuesday Trivia gets to pick any ONE of the seven different pots shown below. Each pot is hand painted and measures anywhere from 3 1/4 to 5 1/2 inches tall. I'm Hungry!

A little known fact about Etsy outside of its own community is that its not just handmade paper and textile goods. In fact, many Etsy sellers sell another type of good, and by good I mean downright delicious. Yummy treats have found their way into the hands of many Etsy buyers and we are so greatful for the bakers who work hard to create their tasty treats.

California Love

California has such a special place in my heart. Even though it is literally on the other side of the country, 3000 miles away from here, there is a certain part of me that will always stay on the west coast. Although I only lived there for 6 months after I was born, most of my family live on the west coast. My maternal grandmother has always been "Nana in California" and my brother now resides just outside of L.A. I have spent numerous vacations, celebrated weddings and anniversaries with family and friends in Tahoe, driven most of coastal Route 1, seen a red carpet movie premier in Hollywood, and been on a date night on the Santa Monica Peer. I love the sun, I love the landscape, and I love the colors.

So, when Etsy shop owner, CaliforniaBlue, emailed me I was thrilled at the opportunity to feature her shop. Her jewelry is gorgeous, and truly embraces the colors and feel of the California coast. Just looking at these pictures makes me want to blow off work and hop a plane to Lake Tahoe.
